MIAMI BEACH, FL. USA-(13-2-2003) Labatt USA’s Stella Artois brand has signed on as “exclusive beer sponsor” of the 2003 Acura SORC, February 26 – March 2, in Miami Beach, FL.
Under terms of the agreement, Stella Artois receives entitlement to daily, post-racing happy hours and receptions in the Sailing World Race Village as well as co-sponsor status of Gosling’s Black Seal `Bermuda Triangle Party” on Friday, February 28th at popular South Beach nightspot, the Clevelander.
This is the second year that Stella Artois has sponsored the Acura SORC, the nation’s premier winter ocean racing regatta.
In its 62nd year, the Acura SORC once again features racing on ocean courses with all shore-side activities headquartered at the Miami Beach Marina.
The Acura SORC is currently run by five of the founding clubs the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club, Coral Reef Yacht Club, Lauderdale Yacht Club, Miami Yacht Club and Nassau Yacht Club and is managed by global sports marketing company Octagon.
