Athletes from the 19 Nations represented will crown the Champions after the two remaining races Friday.
 
Croatian’s Sime Fantela & Igor Marenic, after a consistent day Thursday scoring 3,3,6 have built good lead of fifteen points from the Polish pair of Patryk Piasecki & Jacek Przybylak.   Sime and Igor have shown that “champion ability” to recover from difficult positions or bad starts to arrive back in the hunt at the right end of the contest.
 
Piasecki & Przybylak. did all they could to record 12,2,1 on Thursday to stay in touch with the Croatian 2000 Optimist World Champion, but with just 2 races needed on the last day it will be a difficult task to overhaul the 2004 Junior World Bronze medalists.
 
Israel’s Eyal Levine & Amir Yam together with Germany’s Christopher Lorenz & Friedrich Gebert had their chances to be in the mix but just one faltered race Thursday saw their series scores spiral and left them fighting it out for third and fourth.
 
The Greek pair of Vasilas Georgios & Evangelos Mittakis stood out on Thursday with some great boat handling to take out race 11 of the series.
 
In the Women’s Division, 4 Nations are within reach of the Junior Women’s title.
Daria Blaschkiewitz & Geeske Genrich (GER) have led all week but find themselves on equal points with Switzerland’s Emmanuelle Rol & Anne Sophie Thilo with just 2 races to sail.   Israel’s Noa Botzer & Laia Trajtenberg are just 5 points back in third place and Germany’s Juliane Wolf & Claudia Wolf a further 2 points back.
 
Merili Randmaa & Agnes Lill of Estonia represent the other Women’s Nation that made the Gold fleet here in Tallinn.

Silver Fleet is led by German brothers Julian  & Simon Schunck followed by Finland's Joonas Lindgren & Juuso Lautiainen.
 
The winners will be well set for great results at the 470’s Junior World Championships in St Petersburg (Russia) starting the 25th of July.
