Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race - Fleet currently at 92 yachts
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA-(29-11-2005) Entries for the 2005 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race close at 5.00pm this Friday, 2 December, with the Sailing Office of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA).

The official closing date for Entries follows the CYCA’s acceptance of Applications to Enter the Race from yachts representing five overseas nations and around Australia.

Owners now intending to line up for the start on Boxing Day, 26 December must provide by Friday’s deadline their Entry Fee(s); Audited Special Regulations Form for Category 1; Life Raft Inspection Certificate; Radio Inspection Certificate; and 406 EPIRB Certificate, as required by the Notice of Race.

While an entry form and other listed items may be accepted after that date at the discretion of the Organising Authority (CYCA), no entry documentation will be accepted after 5.00pm hours on 13 December.

The Fleet now stands at 92 yachts, with applications to enter for Mr Beaks, Viva, Wistarie, Infinity III and Beyond Outrageous having been withdrawn.
