| NEUSIEDLERSEE, AUSTRIA-(7-12-2005) “The interest shown in the ISAF World Sailing Games was very positive” emphasized SetONE Managing Director Stefan Sauerwald after the TV trade fair ‘Sportel’ in Monaco. International TV transmitters and News Networks have expressed their interest in the Sailing event to the TV distributors and Media partners of the ISAF World Sailing Games 2006.
News Networks such as EBU, SNTV and Reuters have shown great interest in a continuous reportage particularly during the finals. “It was the right decision to offer daily news reportage” confirmed Sauerwald.
Also numerous TV transmitters such as ESPN, Asia Pacific, Mediaset-Channel 5, Rete 4, Italia 1, La7, Fox sports as well as International Sky Sports, TVC Sports, RTE Ireland, TPS and even East European transmitters like HRT and Sport1 have all shown a genuine interest.
Which foreign transmitters, particularly Italy, France and Brasil, will provide coverage of the ISAF World Sailing Games, will depend largely on the participants of the respective countries.
