Europe Class World Championship - Another tricky day at Europe Class Worlds
HAMILTON, CANADA-(31-8-2002) It was another tricky day in the office for the Europe sailors on day three of the world championships on Hamilton Harbour. With a light 6-8 knot breeze, a further two heat races were sailed.

There is no change at the top after six races, Sarah Blanck of Australia continues to dominate the fleet, adding a first and a fifth to her impressive score-line, giving her a comfortable ten point lead over Siren Sundby of Norway. Sari Multala is one point behind Sundby in third.

There is however still a way to go, the competitors have two more races to sail in the qualifying rounds, and then are scheduled a lay day. The final two days of the championships, the fleets will race as gold, silver and bronze groups, with the winner of the gold fleet being crowned the world champion. Racing concludes on the 3 September.
