The organization of this kind of events must recieve proper treatment. For this reason we want to call this event the most important sailing competition in Catalunya this year.
The main attraction of this event will be the presence of last years' best sailors, because the Star Class is the most antique olympic discipline that exists. Names like José Mº Van der Ploeg, Guillermo Altadill, Mark Neeleman, Mark Reynolds, Steve Forset, without forgetting the spanish Roberto Bermúdez and Gonzalo Gabriel, will fight to get a place for the future Athens Olympic Games in L'Escala.
The organization of this race and the proximity with the future venue of the America's Cup 2008, will be an incentive to know the country, as many of the sailors are possible `Skipper` for the different projects.
